Re: Introducing a Seat Swap Scheme for anyone not happy at the OS

The site is saying.....
"COYI Unofficial Season Ticket Seat Exchange is back! "This website is not affiliated with any entertainment arena in the world. This website is for test purposes only."
http://www.coyi-seatexchange.co.uk/index.php
Have they managed to get round any legal problems, or are they just sticking two fingers up?
Either way, good stuff.
COYI, indeed.

Still not received any communication back from the club on this matter yet via the founders feedback email address.
Shame the site was shut down, around 120 people had registered their seats on the site, not sure how many had swapped.
Personally heard a few stories where families together are too far from the pitch to see, atmosphere not as expected, want to have a similar view as at the Boleyn, there is a genuine need for this type of facility.
Personally hoping the club take this up now which was always my preference. I would be prepared to pay a small admin fee to move to a seat more in liking to the environment I left behind.
I am not a stander, do not want to stand personally, just want the best experience I can have for myself and those around me.
Lets hope sense prevails.

Gavros,
RE: "so why dont you ask why the club have forced it closure when it was solving a problem for them?"
IMHO, the Duchess of Knightsbridge, Goldfinger-Chas and Dave are just digging holes for themselves and they can't stop digging... Why has the Club itself not been pro-active in helping out? Is it because those in the past who did a tremendous job at the Boleyn Ground, have already been given their P45? If so, therein lies a problem of their OWN making...
A West Ham community based solution has been started, by a West Ham fan/supporter, but then blocked by being legally challenged with real and nasty threats...

fair point OTB, after all with #Truribclub and great seats we're in the 'I'm alright Jack" brigade.

That's fair. He asked me months ago whether I thought this would be needed and I said "Nah, fuck them. You've sorted me the best seats in the ICONIC stadium, what do I care?"

I genuinely have no idea. Maybe they will - maybe such a thing isn't ready? People obviously want it, so I'd say it needs to be done.
Again, a guess - IF they do it, I would bet it won't be yet. People need to give things a chance, we've only had one real game. Plus I do know things are a little busy there, so I'd assume it wouldn't be a priority yet.
I'm not hinting at anything there, I really don't know.

Did I hear that WHU themselves were going to set up a swap scheme, or did I imagine that?

But the club used to let people go and swap officially.
Why not allow that?
Not going to when they're opposed to standing though are they?

If it's anything like the rest of the ticket office he probably posted his application to the wrong place B-man.

My GUESS (that's a GUESS) is that it'll have something to do with the Club needing to know who is sitting where. The site wasn't exactly regulated.
Who knows? There might be some silly legal shit for all we know.

To be perfectly honest, he's got too much on at the moment to be answering everything I/others want to know.
We're going away at the weekend, I'll find out then.
